Welcome to U of T Engineering! The First Year Office is here to help you make a successful transition to a new and exciting learning environment at the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. Our goal is to give you the tools you need to make informed decisions during your first year of studies.

Note:

As of Dec. 16, 2021, the First Year Office (FYO) is closed to in-person visitors; however, the FYO Team is still working to assist first-year students and answer your questions.

Office Hours for January 2022

  • First-year support and advising appointments will be offered virtually
  • Our online Live Chat will be available from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. weekdays (with the exception of moments when staff may be unavailable due to breaks)

All general email inquiries will be answered within 1-2 business days. However, during peak periods the response time may be longer. Please include your student number when contacting us.
