Current In-Person Office Hours
- Monday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
- Tuesday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
- Wednesday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
- Thursday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Closed weekends and holidays.
Holiday Hours:
- The First Year Office will be closing at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17. We will be open our normal hours December 18–20.
- We will be closed to in-person traffic on Monday, December 23 (reachable by phone and email until 3 p.m.).
- The University of Toronto will be closed from December 24, 2024–January 5, 2025 inclusive.
- We will reopen on Monday, January 6, 2025. All messages sent during the break will be replied to in sequence when we reopen.
Appointments:
Advising appointments are available in-person, through MS Teams or by phone (select your preferred appointment type when booking in the Advising Portal).
If you require an urgent appointment or have any difficulty finding a time with your advisor, please visit or contact the First Year Office so that we can assist you. For urgent concerns, same-day appointments are often available by request.

All general email inquiries will be answered within 1-2 business days. However, during peak periods the response time may be longer. Please include your student number when contacting us.
