Virtual Tours

Explore the campus before you arrive with these upcoming virtual tour opportunities! 

Engineering Admitted Student Virtual Tours 

The University will be offering Engineering Admitted Student Virtual Tours on
Tuesday, August 3
from 3 – 4:15 p.m. EDT and Thursday, August 5 from 3 – 4:15 p.m. EDT. These tours are specifically for admitted engineering students and will be led by a current engineering student. This is a full 45-minute St. George
campus tour with an emphasis on engineering followed by a 30-minute Q&A session with a Recruitment Officer. Register for an Engineering Admitted Student Virtual Tour here.  

Faculty Tours 

The Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering offers Engineering Virtual Tours twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursday from 2 – 2:45 p.m. EDT. Virtual tours consist of a 45-minute virtual tour presentation led by a current undergraduate engineering student. A recruitment officer is available at the end of each tour to answer questions.
These virtual tours focus on engineering buildings and resources. Engineering tours take place on Zoom. Register for an Engineering Virtual Tour here.
   

 

Online Quiz Updates

We have been receiving a number of questions regarding the Math Self-Assessment Quizzes that were recently sent to you, and in response we have put together some helpful Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for your review!  

These FAQs address common questions around how scores are calculated, how to access the quizzes, and who to reach out to if you need help.

  • Facebook Live: 5 questions about… First Gen, Black, Latinx, Southeast Asian students & belonging: In this U of T Student Life Facebook Live chat, get answers to the top 5 questions new students ask about Access & Inclusion Peer Programs at U of T and resources for First Generation, Black, Latinx, and Southeast Asian students.   • Virtual Housing Fair: Hear about properties, campus services, community legal resources and more at the U of T Student Life virtual Housing Fair on

  • First-year Immigration Advising Workshop #2: Have questions about your study permit, immigration documents and/or arrival in Canada? If you missed the first of two immigration advising workshops held by the First Year Office and the Centre for International Experience, be sure to attend this opportunity on Wednesday, August 11 from 8:30 – 10 a.m. EDT to help you understand your legal rights and responsibilities as an international student. This program is free of charge for new U of T Engineering students, and you only need to attend one of the two Immigration Advising Workshops. Register for the First-year Engineering Immigration Advising Workshop 2 here
  • First Year Foundations: It’s not too late to register for many upcoming free and paid First Year Foundations summer programs, including the week-long Engineering Design 101 and Engineering Problem Solving & Mathematics online experiences, Success 101, and the Summer Math Success Program.     slides and handouts are posted online
