P.S. Not joining U of T Engineering? If your plans have changed, please notify our Admissions Office at admit@engineering.utoronto.ca.

Registration Deadline Reminder

We’d like to remind you that if you haven’t already, it is very important that you register for the upcoming year by making a fee payment or deferring your tuition fees no later than August 19.

If you were notified that you are receiving a scholarship from the University, you should subtract the scholarship amount from your payment (scholarships will be applied to your invoice automatically before October 15).

More info about this and other important to-do items (like activating your UTORid and U of T email) are in the Guide to First Year

Timetable Change Requests

Your timetable should now be available to view in ACORN. If you see a conflict in your schedule (two courses scheduled at the same time/overlapping), or you are missing a course*, please complete our Timetable Change Request Form found here. The deadline to complete this request form is Thursday, September 2 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Sorry, but first-year schedules cannot be rearranged for personal preferences. However, if religious, medical, Varsity athletic, or other important accommodations need to be made, you can complete the above form and we will work to accommodate your request if possible.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you do not request changes that will result in a timetable conflict (i.e. overlapping sections, or sections that are scheduled at the same times).

Please note, the above form cannot be used to request an online version of a course (we will share more information about our limited online course options in next week’s issue).

Further, if you expect that you may need to arrive late to campus this September, you should complete the Late Return to Campus Form found in the Engineering Portal, which is being managed by the Registrar’s Office (see last week’s News Feed for more information on the Late Return to Campus Form).

*Not 100% certain which courses you should be enrolled in?  Your courses are listed by program in the Guide to First Year and in the Faculty’s Academic Calendar (in the “Engineering Programs” section).
