Final Exam Copies are available to students who wish to order a PDF copy of their traditionally graded final exam written in the previous academic term. Students who wish to request a PDF copy of an electronically graded final exam must submit a Final Exam Access request.
How to Request
Final Exam Copy requests are available for traditionally graded exams. Requests can be submitted through the Engineering Portal.
NOTE: Do not order an exam copy if you prefer to receive a final exam viewing. If you request both an exam viewing and an exam copy, only the exam copy request will be processed.
Fees
Final exam copies are $16.25 per exam and are non-refundable. Payments by credit card can be made through the Engineering Portal.
Request Timeline
Exam copy requests typically take 1-2 weeks to process. A PDF copy will be sent to your U of T email once this is ready. Please be aware that requests may be delayed if the Instructor or Course Coordinator has not returned the exam paper to the Registrar's Office.

FAQs
Why do I have to pay a fee for a copy of my traditionally graded exam?
At the end of every academic term, the Registrar's Office receives hundreds of requests for exam copies and final mark re-checks. The administrative fee helps the Registrar's Office cover the additional staffing and resources needed to expedite the requests in a timely fashion.
May I obtain the original version of the exam?
To maintain the academic integrity of the University, the Registrar's Office is unable to provide a student with the original copy of their exam. This practice ensures that each exam is kept in its original condition. Students will be given a reproduction of their U of T Engineering final exams as a PDF.
