
The U of T Engineering Mental Health Initiatives Community of Practice (MHI CoP) welcomes representation from any undergraduate or graduate engineering student clubs or groups.
This is a meeting place for student leaders who wish to learn about wellness resources and supports and/or plan to implement wellness-related activities for engineering students.
What do we do:
- Open to student leaders of engineering student groups.
- The MHI CoP meets 4 times per year to share information and updates regarding wellness initiatives within U of T Engineering.
- By becoming a member, student groups may be eligible to apply for the Wellness Microgrant, funded by the Vice Dean Undergraduate Office and alumni philanthropic support.
Meeting Dates
- Meeting 1: Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
Attend the first meeting of the academic year to learn about how to join the MHI CoP. - Meeting 2: TBA - November 2026
Sharing ideas for initiatives. - Meeting 3: TBA - January 2027
Microgrant is distributed. - Meeting 4: TBA - March 2027
Impact statements due and share updates from the past year.
Microgrant
The 2026-2027 Wellness Microgrant will accept applications on Folio starting October 1, 2026.
Student groups and clubs interested in applying should ensure that at least one representative attends the first MHI CoP meeting for more information.
