Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Engineering – AECERAIEN

The dynamic and rapidly evolving nature of artificial intelligence (AI) has a significant impact on many aspects of daily life. With a wide variety of application areas — including chatbots, computer vision, autonomous driving, speech recognition, bioinformatics and much more — AI can enable innovation across various engineering disciplines.

This certificate will enable students to apply AI and machine learning (ML) to topics within engineering. Through courses, students will be introduced to the design of intelligent systems, deep learning algorithms and neural networks, while special attention will be paid to fairness and ethics issues surrounding machine learning.

Students interested in a more specialized education have the option of pursuing the Minor in Artificial Intelligence. Note: students may only receive credit on their transcript for one of the following: Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Engineering or Minor in Artificial Intelligence Engineering.
