Certificates are a great way to dive into unique focus areas. They provide an excellent opportunity to learn from professors who have a passion in the topic and are leaders in their field. The Engineering Leadership and Forensic Engineering certificates enriched my learning by introducing me to new ideas and potential career areas to pursue post-graduation that I hadn’t previously considered. The courses are also a great opportunity to meet other students from outside of your discipline and year. Overall, the certificates program enhanced my academic experience and broadened my career options.
