Accessibility Services Orientation for Undergraduate Students
Two-day event that provides a more in-depth overview of Accessibility Services, accommodations, and tips to prepare students for post-secondary learning, including an in-person campus tour, social opportunities, presentations from campus support services, as well as lunch! Students are encouraged to join in person.
Day One: Accessibility Foundations (Hybrid)
- How to register with Accessibility Services
- Debunk common myths regarding academic accommodations
- Meet an Accessibility Advisor
- Explore adaptive technology
- Participate in a learning strategy workshop
- Hear from a Peer
Day Two: Campus Resources (In-Person)
Join for a campus tour, exploring Robarts Library, Accommodated Testing Services, Hart House, and the Athletic Centre. Stops include a resource fair and a game of seated volleyball.
