DESCRIPTION:This two-day orientation is tailored for new students who self-identify as having disabilities. It’s also open to those who haven’t attended an Accessibility Services orientation before. \nWhat to Expect: \n\nHelp you navigate academic accommodations at the post-secondary level\nGive you strategies for managing life in and out of the classroom\nTeach you university-level academic learning strategies and skills\nConnect you with a community of peers and Accessibility Services staff\nHelp you transition to the next stage of your academic career\n\nFormat: \n\nOffered virtually via MS Teams and in person at 569 Spadina Ave\, Toronto\, ON M5S 1C7.\nEach day runs from 9 am to 4 pm.\nBreaks will be incorporated into the event.\nYou will have the opportunity to ask questions about the registration process\, next steps\, and other questions related to the transition to post-secondary education.\n\nQuestions: If you have other questions\, please feel free to contact as.learning@utoronto.ca
