When you think about university and the experiences you will gain here, you probably think about learning, growing, and expanding your mind. But you should also consider the relationships and connections you will form during your time in classrooms, labs, and extra-curricular activities. With busy schedules and demanding course workload in Engineering, especially this year where things are being both virtual and in-person, it might seem daunting to make friendships and connections.
The connections you make can go a long way, whether for your time at the university or many years after graduating. Studies have shown that students who make friends, connections, and form relationships in university are more likely to succeed academically. In this session, you will learn the importance of networking and making connections, and more importantly, how you make these connections while learning.
