ACE Seminar Series: Getting Involved

January 17, 2018 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Galbraith Building, Room 217
35 St George St
Toronto, ON M5S 1A4

At university, we’re told from the very first day that getting involved is a must. However, at times finding opportunities or ways to get involved feels difficult.

Mahsa Naserifar, VP Student Life of the University of Toronto Engineering Society, will introduce you to ways to get involved. The Engineering Society is the student government body of the undergraduate engineering students at U of T and oversees over 120 student clubs and initiatives from design teams to cultural activities, professional development and so much more.

If you do not find the club you are looking for, simply start it! Mahsa will also walk attendees through the process of starting a club and what you should know as a club leader or member.

Register online.

The ACE Seminar Series provides opportunities that will accelerate, cultivate, and empower student success. Through ACE, undergraduate engineering students have opportunities to engage with staff, faculty and peers to learn and apply academic strategies, life skills and co-curricular opportunities in order to maximize their university experience. These sessions help ease the transition into U of T Engineering and increase student success not only during your time here, but also help students prepare to transition out of school into the professional community.
