This workshop will present highlights on a number of ongoing, cutting-edge research projects that look at the careers of young engineers. Based on the findings of numerous studies, we will suggest possible strategies you can use to learn from the experiences of others. Additionally, there will be an action-planning activity that integrates the theory into practice.

You will leave this workshop having gained a stronger understanding of recent research regarding school-to-work transition and finding a good fit. You will have also reflected on your own needs and wants for a career, as well as the effectiveness of your job search strategies to date.
